EagleMed 6, the Eighth satellite base for Ballard Aviation Inc./EagleMed was first started the Spring of 2003 in Tahlequah, Oklahoma. This rotor aircraft serves the people of Northeastern Oklahoma and NorthWest Arkanas is located at the Tahlequah City Hospital in Cherokee County.
With a crew of 4 registered nurses, 4 paramedics, 4 pilots and a dedicated Eurocopter B2 A-Star. EagleMed 6 is capable to transport critically ill or injured adults / pediatric patients to tertiary medical centers in Oklahoma City, Tulsa and Little Rock Arkansas.
EagleMed also responds to trauma related accidents with access to two Level 2 trauma centers in the region. We are proud to serve the 22 Hospitals and the 16 EMS services in the region we live in, and gladly assist in anyway possible to insure timely, friendly, and professional service in air medical transport needs of our patients.
