EagleMed 18, the twelfth satellite base for Ballard Aviation Inc./EagleMed was first started in April of 2006 in Hugo, Oklahoma. This rotor aircraft serves the people of Southeastern Oklahoma and Northeastern Texas is located at the Hugo Municipal Airport in Choctaw County.
With a crew of 5 registered nurses, 4 paramedics, 4 pilots and a dedicated Eurocopter B2 A-Star. EagleMed 18 is capable to transport critically ill or injured adults / pediatric patients to tertiary medical centers in Oklahoma City, Tulsa, Tyler and Dallas, Texas.
EagleMed also responds to trauma related accidents with access to one Level 1 trauma centers and several Level 2 trauma centers in the region. We are proud to serve the 18 Hospitals and 15 EMS services in the region we live in, and gladly assist in anyway possible to insure timely, friendly, and professional service in air medical transport needs of our patients.
